LING 726: Syntax II (3 )
An advanced course covering one or more current theories of syntax. The course will provide in-depth reading and discussion on the major areas of syntactic theory including universal grammar, phrase structure theory, lexical projections of argument structure, binding, control, locality condition, constraints on representation, and the relation between syntax and the semantic module.
