LING 700: Introduction to Linguistic Science (3 )
An introduction to the theory and techniques of linguistic science for majors and others intending to do advanced work in linguistics and linguistic anthropology. Emphasis on the sound system, grammatical structure, and semantic structure of languages. Lectures and laboratory sessions. (Same as ANTH 725.)
