HIST 305: The Scientific Revolution (3 ) H
Describes and analyzes the factors producing a Scientific Revolution in early-modern Europe. Focuses on fundamental changes in astronomy-cosmology, physics, and biology from Copernicus to Newton. Examines the emergence of experimental method as an essential part of Western science. Portrays the development of new forms of scientific organization and the cultural frameworks that bore and shaped them.
