ARCH 530: Environmental Systems I (3)

This introductory course addresses human needs and comfort in relation to the natural and man-made environments. Specific topics include: climate and weather; environmental health; indoor air quality; thermal comfort; passive and active systems and design strategies for heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning; plumbing; noise control; building management systems; and life safety systems.
